ACCOUNT STRATEGY MANAGER

 

Soulsight, a highly strategic and creative iconic brand design agency is looking for experienced Account Managers to join our Account Strategy Team.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Account Strategy Manager has expertise in account and project management responsibilities and is focused on, building trusting relationships, providing strategic leadership for assigned clients, ensuring overarching internal and external needs are being met, and looking for business growth opportunities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

 

  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management or Client Services, history working in branding and design
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop scopes of work and manage project timelines
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with internal team and clients
  • Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate internal and external needs
  • Highly organized and able to juggle multiple assignments/projects at one time
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading others is a plus

 

 COLLABORATION & TEAMWORK

 

  • Works with an optimistic attitude and operates with a team mentality
  • Works collaboratively with Design, Strategy, Production, Operations and New Business
  • Adds value throughout the creative process, contributing and providing feedback in an objective manner

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

  • Leads multiple projects or accounts under assigned client(s)
  • Develops creative briefs and project write-ups for internal, cross-functional teams
  • Manages client and agency requests in a timely and organized manner
  • Develops work plan proposals with costs, deliverables, timelines and client milestones 
  • Effectively manages project schedules with appropriate assigned resources
  • Manages revenue forecasting, budgeting and billing schedule for assigned clients

 

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

 

  • Builds Strong and Trustworthy Client Relationships across assigned accounts
  • Ensures overarching client expectations are being met
  • Prioritizes client needs appropriately and understands when priorities need to flex
  • Updates project timelines and scopes of work promptly and communicates and shifts to clients
  • Communicates client challenges, opportunities, and successes
  • Synthesizes and shares out information in a timely manner to keep the process moving
  • Delivers timely and accurate meeting reports
  • Displays confidence while maintaining a positive and approachable demeanor in client presentations
  • Clear competency in understanding client team dynamics

 

 ACCOUNT STRATEGY

 

  • Delivers feedback in an objective and strategic manner, that is rooted in the client brief and expectations
  • Contributes to insight gathering, including cross-category and competitive audits
  • Contributes to Equity and Packaging Focused Learning Plans
  • Keeps a strong pulse on industry trends and relevant category insights
  • Partners with the strategy team in the development of brand foundational frameworks

 

 BUSINESS GROWTH

 

  • Displays the foundation for a business growth mindset by asking questions to understand where there might be organic growth opportunities
  • Displays a willingness to work on opportunities with new clients
  • Contributes to the revenue goals for assigned clients
  • Looks for opportunities to add value to the agency beyond his/her assigned project work
